We are deeply saddened by the loss of life, injuries, destruction and damage as a result of wildfires that broke out in the Valparaiso region of Chile over the past few days.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to the friendly people and the Government of Chile, and in particular to the families of those who are grieving the loss of their loved ones and we wish a swift recovery to those wounded.
